Grateful

This week, I attended a beautiful retirement ceremony for a female leader and had a candid and heartwarming conversation with another female leader where I work.

For the former, it was moving to learn about her 40 years of dedication and the ways she has improved this country through her work and character.

For the latter, she showed me the beauty there is in being human, and being vulnerable. She helped shape my life through an earlier act of vulnerability and, after this week’s conversation, gave me hope through her courage.

I hope you find women like this along your way. It is a genuine gift.
